You probably just started or maybe in the middle of planning your wedding. You have not said your vows to one another yet and we bet you have not thought that this could be good time to think about the future benefits of things you decide to spend your money on now? It is. One such thing is a wedding video.

Getting a photographer is almost automatic when most plan a wedding but videography is sometimes a second thought. These days based on the advanced technology minded most are, it is not as much of a second thought as it used to be, but it still can be expensive and something to have to include or not include in the budget. Things to think about when making this decision would be are still pictures really going to capture the day and your guests in the way you will be able to remember? Will still pictures be enough to see the things you were too busy to see or were too involved in the whirlwind to notice?

If you are honest, the answer is probably no. To help you contemplate the true value of a wedding video, think about using it on your upcoming anniversaries to renew your vows to one another.  You will say the vows once, but renewing them vicariously every year could be quite meaningful.

You can either have the video done professionally with all sorts of extras (this can be expensive and probably not half price) or you can ask a friend that has that ability and talent to do it for you as your wedding gift. (budget wedding) Think about including the wedding video in your wedding budget, especially the complete marriage ceremony.  It is invaluable and you can only share that day live once, so make the memory as vivid as possible. A wedding video is the best way to do that. The old saying goes the next best thing is Memorex (oops that was not a saying, it was an ad campaign, but they got it right).

You have decided to get married and you have set a date, but looking through magazines you see the extravagant gowns and high priced reception halls, you start to think about eloping as it would be cheaper. But is it what you want? Don’t you want a day to remember with friends and family?

If you’re a couple that desires an easy-going, carefree atmosphere with a small circle of friends and family, perhaps the traditional weddings you have attended are not for you. With the popularity of theme weddings you may find a different approach that will help you display your love for one another and life in a distinctly unique wedding with a beach wedding. It is summer again and as most know it is the most popular time to get married. All the magazines are talking about how to have the best summer wedding and the buzz is out that summer is the time to tie the knot. Why not- schools are out, the weather is usually the best and summer brings out the fun life in most people, no matter where you live.

So why not you ask again? The main reason is budget and the answer is saving your self enough for a down payment on a home and still having your perfect wedding. The two most popular times to get married are summer, with June topping the list, and the Christmas/New Year season. Since they are the most popular they are the most expensive. Depending on how many people you are having at your event and where you are holding it, the difference is usually five to fifteen thousand dollars. Seriously, the banquet halls and almost everything else that has to do with a wedding is twice as much. The merchants know you want to get married during this time so they hike the prices.

Unless you absolutely have to get married in the summer because of family that can only make it then(remember not everyone will make your wedding no matter when you have it as life happens), choose the Fall or Spring as your wedding will be just as beautiful and the memories the same but the potential regret of what you could have done with that extra money will not override the speciality of what your wedding day will be. After all it is the vows that are most imporatant as the marriage is what you are entering for life not the banquet hall.
